Veterinary Oncology Services & Cancer Treatments
Veterinary Oncology at Coral Springs Animal Hospital
Learning that your pet has cancer is a stressful and frightening experience. Our Veterinary Oncologist is available to help you understand your pet’s disease, prognosis, and treatment options available for cancer in dogs and cats.
Our goal in treating cancer patients is to comfortably maintain your pet’s quality of life in the manner that best fits your family’s expectations and your pet’s needs. After reviewing your pet’s medical record and a thorough examination, our Veterinary Oncologist will discuss options for your pet including any supportive care they may need. In most cases, cancer in dogs or cats is treatable. We provide comprehensive care, including any nutritional support or pain control your pet may need for all types of cancer including lymphoma in dogs and cats.
Dogs and cats undergoing chemotherapy or immunotherapy with our Veterinary Oncologist usually have a low risk of side effects. Our patients usually feel and act normal at home.
